Cook County DUI Attorney Gets Drivers License Reinstated

In this Cook Country DUI case, our client was alleged to have swerved all over road for several miles by the arresting police officer.

No field sobriety tests were administered. The officer claimed that the client refused to take them.

Attorney Steven R. Hunter presented evidence showing that the road was riddled with potholes and submitted into evidence a map showing the distance the client traveled before the traffic stop. In addition, the owner of the car the client drove, who is a medical doctor, testified that he had been with the client right before he left and that he was sober.

The petition to rescind the summary suspension was granted and the client's driver's license was reinstated. The judge stated that he found the defense witnesses more believable than the police officer. (YW 587446).
